We all know the issue when the customer reports that the phone is answering by itself and they want it to stop, this is fine when you can call the user and explain that they have inadvertently switched on interphony but is a PITA when the phone is not manned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So here is a possible solution, in this example I am using the details for one of my test phones in the lab which you will need to replace with the one on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also I seem to remember that there is a new command to access a phone without the ippstat bit but it escapes me at the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the command line<\/p>\n\n\n\n

> ippstat telnet d 4009 t 1440     (switch on telnet for the phone)
> ippstat d 4009                            (retrieves the details for the phone including the IP address)
> telnet 192.168.100.130<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the handset:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NoePhone > ledstate          (shows the current state of the LED\u2019s [on|off|slowblink|fastblink])<\/p>\n\n\n\n
