Creating a Call Ring Group (CRG) on the Alcatel-Lucent OxE
Creating a CRG is done in three steps
1. Create the CRG in Groups and assign the extensions that you want to be called, remember that the number for the CRG cannot conflict with an entity number
2. Create a prefix that is a Entity/CRG Call with the prefix information that is the CRG number created in 1.
3. Create a virtual user (can be an un assigned analogue set) which is immediately forwarded to the prefix created in 2.
That’s it the only problem is remembering to do step 3 when you haven’t done this in 18 months 🙂
